We extend our warm congratulations to Mr. Lasantha Manoj Nanayakkara (Attorney-at-Law) on his appointment as the Chief Scout Commissioner of the Sri Lanka Scout Association. We wish him every success as he continues his dedicated service to Scouting and youth leadership in Sri Lanka.

This prestigious appointment was made by His Excellency the President and Chief Scout of Sri Lanka, Mr. Anura Kumara Dissanayake, in accordance with the provisions of the Sri Lanka Scout Council Act No. 13 of 1957.

The official letter of appointment was formally presented to Mr. Nanayakkara this afternoon (13) at the Presidential Secretariat by the Secretary to the President, Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake.

ශ්‍රී ලංකා බාලදක්ෂ සංගමයේ නව ප්‍රධාන බාලදක්ෂ කොමසාරිස් ලෙස නීතිඥ මනෝජ් නානායක්කාර මහතා පත් කර තිබේ. 1957 අංක 13 දරන බාලදක්ෂ පනතේ විධිවිධාන ප්‍රකාරව ප්‍රධාන බාලදක්ෂ ජනාධිපති අනුර කුමාර දිසානායක මහතා විසින් මෙම පත් කිරීම සිදු කර ඇත. ඊට අදාළ පත්වීම් ලිපිය ජනාධිපති ලේකම් ආචාර්ය නන්දික සනත් කුමානායක මහතා විසින් අද (13) පස්වරුවේ ජනාධිපති කාලයේදී ඒ මහතා වෙත භාර දෙනු ලැබීය.

2026/01/03 (සෙනසුදාරා) දින සවස 3.00ට තලාහේන පොදු සුසාන භූමියේදී සිදුකෙරේ.

එතුමියගේ දේහය 2026/01/02 (සිකුරාදා) දින සිට උදේ 9.00සිට මාලබේ චන්ද්‍රා පනාගොඩ මල්ශාලාවේ තැන්පත් කර තිබේ.
