uirements. Navigation Cadets are put through a training programme, where they become Deck Officers and finally obtain their Shipmaster’s Class 1 Certificate of Competency. During this period the faculty provides the continuing professional development necessary to hone and update the required skills for their demanding assignments on board ships.
