The School of Psychology at SLIIT recently participated in the television program Nuga Sewana to discuss the growing importance of psychology education in Sri Lanka.
Representing the School were Dr Naren Selvaratnam and Dr Nilanga Abeysinghe, who shared insights into SLIITโs psychology programs, career pathways in psychology, and the relevance of psychology in todayโs society.
We thank the team at Nuga Sewana for the opportunity to highlight the value of psychology and higher education in Sri Lanka.

March is Self-Harm Awareness Month๐งก - a time to pause, reflect, and approach difficult conversations with more understanding.
Not everything we see tells the full story, and sometimes, what matters most is simply being present and open to listening.
Because awareness is more than knowing - itโs choosing to care. ๐ซ
