📢 PGDE – Regional Coordinators’ Meeting 2025

The Regional Coordinators’ Meeting of the Postgraduate Diploma in Education (PGDE) was successfully held on 26th August 2025 at the New Auditorium, NIE, under the leadership of Prof. Manjula Vithanapathirana, Director General – NIE.

During the event, appointment letters for the Academic Year 2025 were officially handed over to the Coordinators by the Director General.

👥 Highlights of the Meeting:

Mr. Dammika Kodithuwakku, Director – Department of Teacher Education, explained the vital role and responsibilities of the Regional Coordinators.

Mr. Shifan, National Coordinator of PGDE, elaborated on the interview process and registration procedures.

Dr. Sudarshini, National Coordinator for the B.Ed. Programme, warmly welcomed all participants.

Key matters including the inaugural ceremony of PGDE 2025 were also discussed in detail.

✨ This meeting marks a significant step towards the smooth commencement of the PGDE Programme – 2025 across regional centers.
