Varahamihira also known as Varaha or Mihira was a Indian mathematician lived around 6th century. He was a great astrologer, and one of prominent figure of his time. One of his great work Pañcasiddhāntikā is now lost in time, talks about five different aspects of Astronomy.

He created the below 4 × 4 magic square, interesting thing of square is however you sum rowwise, columnwise of diagonal wise , sum comes out to be 18

Madhava of Sangamagrama was a Indian mathematician and astronomer, and consider to be the founder of Kerla school of astronomy and mathematics. He was well known of infinite series and also gave one of fast converging series of which 21 terms gave 11 digits of π. His notable works include Golavada, Madhyamanayanaprakara, Mahajyanayanaprakara.

Aryabhata was the great Indian mathematician , astronomer. He was one who popularize the concept of zero and its use in number system. His main works includes study of arithmetic, plane geometry, trigonometry. Direct details of his work are known only from the Aryabhatiya, which includes section of 33 verses called ganitpada which covers mensuration.
The section includes the verse

चतुरधिकं शतमष्टगुणं द्वाषष्टिस्तथा सहस्राणाम्
अयुतद्वयविष्कम्भस्यासन्नो वृत्तपरिणाहः.

"caturadhikaṃ śatamaṣṭaguṇaṃ dvāṣaṣṭistathā sahasrāṇām
ayutadvayaviṣkambhasyāsanno vṛttapariṇāhaḥ."

"Add four to 100, multiply by eight, and then add 62,000. By this rule the circumference of a circle with a diameter of 20,000 can be approached."

The above verse tells the circumference of circle with diameter 20000 to be 62832, which gives value of pi to be 3.1416 with error < .0001

He has inspired the Indian mathematics for centuries, and gave new aspect, new direction to world mathematics.

Brahmagupta was an Indian mathematician, lived around 7 century, after time of Āryabhata. He is known for his rules for arithmetic of zero. He works include the Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta, treatise on arithmetic, and astronomy. The Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta includes many concept, vedic mathematics practices for multiplication, division, squaring , cube, square root, cube root , linear equation, quadratic equation and many more. Book also include many expansion formule for fast squaring and cubing.

One of it is given in the Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta Chapter 12th, verse 63, minor method of squaring, Brahmagupta says, "The product of sum and difference of number (squaring number) and assumed number plus square of assumed number is square of number"
