■ Rukmal Ella Falls are situated in the Bulathkohupitiya – Dedugala Road in Kegalle district. This is a 10 meter waterfall which is best viewed and easily seen from the main road. It is 45 km away from Kitulgala, which is popular for white water rafting.
■ Rukmal Ella Falls is made out of a tributary of Ritigaha Oya, which later joins the Kelani River. During the rainy season the water of the falls comes up to the bridge rail sprinkling water onto viewers from the roadside.
Getting to Rukmal Ella Falls
■ From Kandy take the Colombo – Kandy Road and go past Peradeniya, Mawanella, Kegalle, Moronthota, Udugoda up until Bulathkohupitiya. Turn to Bulathkohupitiya – Dedugala Road and go about 900 meters down this road to find Rukmal Ella Falls.

World Jellyfish Day (November 3rd) Jellyfish is a majot part of phylum Cnidaria. The name jellyfish has traditionally been applied to medusae and all similar looking animals.
Some jellyfish can glow in the dark. Because of their magical colours, the ocean becomes really colourful🌈 The fact is, they don't have hearts, blood, bones or even brains! Instead of them, they have nerve nets to sense the surroundings and according to those, they can react😲
There are some harmful jellyfish species and "Box Jellyfish(class: Cubozoa)" is one of them. Their stings can be very painful and fatal to humans. So don't try to touch any jellyfish if you see around beaches🖐️❌ If you get stung by them, use painkillers such as paracetamol and ibuprofen. Also you can apply shaving cream which can helo prevent the spread of toxins. After that, go to the nearest hospital for further treatments!🏃♂️🏃♀️🚑
Jellyfish are an amazing part of our biodiversity. Let's celebrate "World Jellyfish Day"!🥳
