තම රන්දිය බිඳු මතින් දූලි වලා සඟවා සාර කෙතක් වන් හස්තිශෛලපුර වැව ගෙදර පින් බිම තුළින් දෙදහස් නවය වසරේ පැල කළ බීජයන් වැනි දරුවන් ඉංජිනේරුවන්, වෛද්‍යවරුන්, ගණකාධිකාරවරුන්, නීතිඥවරුන්, රණවිරුවන් මෙන්ම රටට වැඩදායී පුරවැසියන් බවට පත්ව මුළු සමාජයටම වර්තමානයේ යහපතක් සිදු කරනු ලබන්නේ ඔබගේ අප්‍රතිහත ධෛර්යය නිසාවෙන්මය.

කුඩා පන්ති කාමර අහස් කුස සිප ගන්න සුවිසල් මන්දිර බවට පත්කරලීමට දිවා රෑ නොබලා තම දිවිය කැප කළ ඔබගේ කැප කිරීම අපරිමිතය. පුරා වසර දාහතක් මුළුල්ලේ විදි ඒ කටුක කාර්තු මෙන්ම සොම්නස් කාර්තු සියල්ලෙහෙදීම තම දරුවන්ගේ සුභ සිද්ධිය සැමවිටම ප්‍රාර්ථනා කළ ඔබ අපගේ දෙවැනි පියතුමන්ය.

පළමු වසර සිට ඔබගේ දෑතේ එල්ලි අකුරු කළ අප ඔබගේ කාරුණික බව, විනයානුකූල බව, පෞරුෂත්වය යන සියල්ල සෙවනකොට සෙනෙහසේ කිමිදෙමින් අකුරු කළ අප විනයානුකූල බව රුධිරගත කරමින් යහපත් දරු පිරිසක් බවට පත්ව සිටින්නේ ඔබගේ මග පෙන්වීම යටතේමය.

ලොව ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨ මිනිසුන් ශ්‍රේෂ්ඨත්වයට පත් වූයේ නිරායාසයෙන් නොව අන් සියල්ලන් නිදි සුව විඳින තුරු ඔවුන් මනා කැපකිරිමෙන් කටයුතු කිරීම මගින් බව ඔබ අපට ආදර්ශයෙන්ම ඔප්පු කළ අපගේ හදෙහි වීරයා විය.

ශතකයක් දෙකක් නොව සියවස් ගණනාවක් යනතුරු නොමැකෙන රනින් ලියකම් කළ D.A. රත්නායක නාමය ආරක්ෂක සේවා විදු බිමෙහි ප්‍රෞඩත්වයෙන් යුතුව සදා විදහා පානු ඇත. ඔබගේ ආදී සිසුන් වන අපගේ මුවගේ පමණක් නොව හද පත්ල තුළ සදා රැව් පිළිරැව් දෙන නාමය ඔබයි .විදුබිමේ ගරුත්වය සදා රැක ගැනුමට ප්‍රතිඥා දෙමින් ඔබගේ විවේකාරම්භයට අපගේ සුභාශිංසන එක් කරමු.
