Royal Central College A/L Science 1974 Past students of the Royal Central College Polonnaruwa, who entered the Science A/L class in 1974, held their first get-together on the 22nd December 2012. Mr.

Past students of the Royal Central College Polonnaruwa, who entered the Science A/L class in 1974, held their first get-together on the 22nd December 2012. 21 past students with their family members and 4 past teachers attended. The present principal was also present. They first visited the school premises at 9.00 AM and went round the school. Thereafter a meeting was held in the principal’s office. They then had lunch at Hotel ‘New Araliya’. The two past students Dhanapala and Aberatna were instrumental to this great occasion who also sponsored it. The four teachers present were Mrs. Iranganie Owitigoda, Mr. Bernard Withanarchchi, Mr. Welekala and Mr. Prasad Fonseka. All the past students and the teachers present briefed their achievements and what they did since they left the school. Prasad Fonseka read extracts form some of the letters he received from Dhanapala, Seeta, Nissanka and Devika in 1975 and 1976. They all agreed to have annual get-togethers in future.

පොළොන්නරුව රාජකීය මධ්‍ය මහා විද්‍යාලයේ 1974 වසරේ උසස් පෙල පංතියට ඇතුල්වූ සිසුසිසුවියන්ට හා ඔවුන්ට අධ්‍යාපනය දුන් ගුරුවරුන්ට 2012 දෙසැම්බර් 22 දින ප්‍රීතිමත් දිනයක් විය. ඒ පාසැල හැරගිය පසු සිදුවූ ඔවුන් ගේ ප්‍රථම හමුවීම නිසා ය. ආදි සිසුසිසුවියන් 21 දෙනෙක් තම පවුලේ අය සමඟ ද, ආදි ගුරුවරු 4 දෙනෙක් ද එයට සහභාගි විය.
