Our Grade 2 students brought their creativity to life through a delightful soft clay wall art activity!

This hands-on art learning experience encouraged students to explore their imagination while developing important skills such as fine motor coordination, creativity, concentration, spatial awareness, and self-expression.

Through creating, shaping, and designing with soft clay, our young artists enjoyed learning in a fun, meaningful, and engaging way.

𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 : 𝑾𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒚 𝑫𝒐𝒍𝒍 𝑪𝒓𝒂𝒇𝒕 - 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒚 𝑮𝒓𝒐𝒖𝒑 @ 𝑽𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒂 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆 - 𝑲𝑼𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑨.

Our little Play Group learners had a delightful and creative experience as they participated in a fun-filled Woolly Doll Craft activity. Each child had the opportunity to create their very own adorable woolly doll face, bringing their imagination to life through hands-on creativity.

Through this engaging activity, the children explored a variety of colours, textures, and materials while developing essential early-learning skills such as fine motor coordination, hand-eye coordination, creativity, and imagination.

As they carefully designed their unique little dolls, they also strengthened their concentration, patience, self-expression, and confidence. Every creation was wonderfully unique and reflected the children’s individuality, creativity, and joyful spirit.

At Vidura College - Kurunegala, we believe that learning through creativity provides children with meaningful opportunities to explore, discover, and express themselves.

𝑨𝑻𝑯𝑵𝑶𝑹𝑰 2026 - 𝑲𝑼𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑨 𝑫𝑰𝑺𝑻𝑹𝑰𝑪𝑻 𝑺𝑪𝑶𝑼𝑻 𝑪𝑨𝑴𝑷

The enthusiastic Cub Scouts of Vidura College, Kurunegala, participated in Athnori 2026 - Kurunegala District Scout Camp, organized by the Kurunegala District Scout Association.

Held on 28 August 2026 at the 5th Armoured Regiment Army Camp, Abimansala, Pangolla, the camp provided our young Scouts with a valuable and memorable opportunity to learn, explore, challenge themselves, and foster new friendships.

Through a range of adventure-based, educational, leadership, and creative activities, our Cub Scouts developed essential life skills, strengthened their teamwork, and experienced the true spirit and values of Scouting.

We are proud of our Cub Scouts for their enthusiasm, courage, teamwork, discipline, and active participation throughout the camp. Their commitment and positive spirit are a source of great pride to our school.

𝑨𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒊𝒕𝒚 - 𝑩𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒓 𝑪𝒂𝒌𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 - 𝑮𝒓𝒂𝒅𝒆 6 @ 𝑽𝒊𝒅𝒖𝒓𝒂 𝑪𝒐𝒍𝒍𝒆𝒈𝒆, 𝑲𝑼𝑹𝑼𝑵𝑬𝑮𝑨𝑳𝑨.

Our Grade 6 students stepped into the wonderful world of baking through an engaging, hands-on Butter Cake Making Activity.

Working together, they learned the importance of following instructions, accurately measuring ingredients, maintaining proper hygiene, and embracing the value of teamwork.

More than simply making a cake, this enjoyable experience encouraged our students to develop creativity, confidence, cooperation, and essential practical life skills while learning in a fun and meaningful environment.
