Pleased to share that the SEDA Entrepreneurship Training Programme was successfully inaugurated at the Department of Business Management, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Industrial Development Board (IDB), fostering sustainable entrepreneurial thinking among students.

The ceremony to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Wayamba University of Sri Lanka and hSenid Business Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. took place on 16th February 2026 in the Vice Chancellor's Office in the Main Administrative Building of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka. Representing the two institutions, this MoU was signed by Professor E.M.P. Ekanayake, Vice Chancellor of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, and Mr. Sampath Jayasundara, Chief Executive Officer and Director of hSenid Business Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. Prof. S.K. Gamage, the Dean, Faculty of Business Studies & Finance; Mr. W.A.D. Chithrananda, the Registrar, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka; and Mr. Thushara Dissanayake, General Manager – Sri Lanka, Chief Delivery Officer, hSenid Business Solutions PLC, and Mr. Mahinda Pathirana, Senior Manager, Customer Success, hSenid Business Solutions PLC, attested the MoU.

This collaboration aims at developing knowledge and providing professional training for the undergraduates at the Department of Business Management. Such students will not only be exposed to human resource management functions but will also be inculcated with a plethora of comprehensive skills via the HRM enterprise application software supplied by hSenid Business Solutions (Pvt.) Ltd. under this MoU.
