The Department of Computing and Information Systems, Faculty of Applied Sciences, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, in collaboration with the Association of Computing and Information Systems Students (ACISS), successfully concluded the ๐๐ฑ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐ข๐ง ๐๐จ๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฎ๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ workshop series - a four-session initiative collaboratively organized by the lecturers of the Department to strengthen studentsโ understanding of research and guide them through key stages of the research journey. ๐ฌ๐

Throughout the series, students explored research fundamentals, literature review techniques, research problem formulation, objective development, research design, methodology selection, and contemporary research opportunities in Computer Science.
The success of this initiative was made possible through the continuous guidance and encouragement of the academic staff of the Department of Computing and Information Systems, including Prof. V. G. T. N. Vidanagama, Senior Treasurer of ACISS and Associate Professor of the Department of Computing and Information Systems; Mrs. R. P. T. H. Gunasekara, Senior Committee Member of ACISS and Senior Lecturer of the Department of Computing and Information Systems; and Mr. T. Arudchelvam, Former Head of the Department of Computing and Information Systems. Their support played a crucial role in ensuring the smooth ex*****on of the sessions.
The valuable contributions of the academic and non-academic staff, resource persons, and dedicated ACISS committee members were instrumental in making this series a meaningful and impactful learning experience.
