As a firm that has been involved in placing Sri Lankan students in Finland for 16 straight years, especially from a time when there was only one Sri Lankan student taking the entrance test physically in New Delhi, India, back then ๐Ÿ˜‰, we have been advising our applicants to prepare for several months to cover all expenses on their own and to be able to pay the fees as far as possible, and not to claim unemployment benefits, which is one of the root causes of the current rapidly changing migration rules.

Our message is clear. Finland is one of the safer long term options for someone to settle down. For example, anyone who goes to a public research university has to complete the qualification, complete the post study period, and learn the Finnish language to A2 level (elementary) or obtain 15 ECTS to be eligible for permanent residency.

However, we do not recommend it as an option without this initial financial preparation.
