Today, I had the honor of participating as an invitee at the Salanihini Wasanthaya opening ceremony in Nuwara Eliya, organized by the Municipal Council of Nuwara Eliya. As the founder of SLHIKA in Nuwara Eliya, I am excited to be part of this month-long celebration featuring a series of vibrant events throughout April.

The highlight of the festival will be on April 16th and 17th, when Ravana Aviation, in collaboration with the Municipal Council of Nuwara Eliya, will host a mega event—"Wings of Ravana"—at Zone 4, Gregory Lake. To represent this upcoming event, we organized a special parade showcasing kites and the logos of Ravana Aviation, the Ravana Aviation Kite Association, and Aviation Archaeology of Sri Lanka.

This year, we are introducing our aviation heritage through a dedicated exhibition stall, based on my academic research. This initiative will serve as an eye-opener, adding significant value to Sri Lankan tourism while promoting our rich cultural and aviation history.

Today, I had the pleasure of speaking at Lyceum International School in Nugegoda on career guidance in aviation. The students actively participated, sharing their thoughts and asking insightful questions about pursuing a career in aviation.

One key takeaway from this session was the realization that our country has many potential aviation enthusiasts, but they lack a proper guidance system to help them develop their careers in alignment with Sri Lanka's national interests. Many students are falling behind in choosing their future as professionals in the aviation industry.

I did my best to share my knowledge and insights without relying on digital devices, focusing on a more interactive and personal approach. I extend my gratitude to the Lyceum staff for giving me this opportunity to mentor these bright students in the aviation field.

Today, we are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for Ravana Aviation as we have officially received the intellectual property rights for our logo, which was initially applied for in 2012. Ravana Aviation is poised to become the premier international airline of Sri Lanka, and we are excited about the future that lies ahead.

One of our key initiatives in this journey is the establishment of the Ravana Aviation Academy, a subsidiary of Ravana Aviation. This academy will play a pivotal role in nurturing the next generation of aviation professionals and enthusiasts.

To further solidify our presence in the aviation world, we are proud to introduce the Ravana Aviation Kite Association. With the motto "Kite to Aviation," this association aims to engage and inspire the youth, guiding them towards a future in aviation. We believe that fostering this passion from a young age is essential for the growth of the aviation industry.

Additionally, we are taking a unique step by introducing Aviation Archaeology to Sri Lanka.
