Today, the CEHIC Parents' Association organized a special blood donation drive to honor and remember the beautiful legacy of Rev. Fr. Aloysius Pieris, S.J.

Held at the CEHIC premises in Dalugama from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., parents, staff, alumni, and well-wishers came together to give the ultimate gift of life.

As the founding Co-Director of CEHIC and the founder of the Tulana Research Centre, Fr. Aloy dedicated his entire life to serving and empowering others. We cannot think of a more fitting tribute to his boundless love, generosity, and "Christian Sensuality" than coming together to save lives in his name.

2026 මාර්තු 24 වන දින තුලාන පර්යේෂණ මධ්‍යස්ථානයේදී පැවති අවමංගල්‍ය මෙහෙයේදී, පූජ්‍ය ගල්කන්දේ ධම්මානන්ද හිමිපාණන් විසින් ස්වර්ගගත වූ ගරු ඇලෝසියස් පීරිස් (SJ) පියතුමා (1934–2026) වෙනුවෙන් ඉතා හැඟීම්බර සහ ගැඹුරු ගුණ කථනයක් සිදු කරන ලදී.

බෞද්ධ-ක්‍රිස්තියානි අන්තර් ආගමික සංවාදය තුළ ඇලෝයි පියතුමා තැබූ සුවිශේෂී සලකුණ, බෞද්ධ දර්ශනය පිළිබඳව එතුමා තුළ වූ ගැඹුරු අවබෝධය හා ගෞරවය මෙන්ම, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සමාජ සාධාරණත්වය වෙනුවෙන් එතුමා දැක්වූ නොසැලෙන කැපවීම පිළිබඳව ධම්මානන්ද හිමිපාණන් මෙහිදී අදහස් දක්වයි. මෙය ආගමික සහජීවනය ගොඩනැගීම සහ සමාජීය බෙදීම් යා කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් කැපකළ උතුම් ජීවිතයකට දැක්වූ කදිම උපහාරයකි.

අප කොලු කුරුට්ටන් කාලේ නිවසට වඩා කාලය ගත කළේ අපේ ගමේම, එනම් කැලණියේ ගෝනාවල පිහිටි “තුලන” නම් ඇලෝයි පිය අසපුවේය. මේ කියන කාලවකවානුව බොහෝ විට අනූව දශකයේ මුල් භාගය විය යුතුය. මා එහි රැඳී සිටි එක්තරා මොහොතක, තුලනයේ කාටත් ප්‍රිය වූ ඒ මහා ජම්බු ගස අසල සිටින විට ඇලෝයි පියතුමා මා අසලට පැමිණියේය.

“නුවන්, දැන් ස්වාමින් වහන්සේ නමක් වඩිනවා. උන්වහන්සේ වැඩිය සැණින් මට පොඩ්ඩක් කියන්න,” යැයි පවසා පියතුමා පුස්තකාලය දෙසට පියනැගුවේය.

Yesterday, amidst a profound gathering of loved ones, colleagues, and students, we bid our final earthly farewell to our beloved founder, Rev. Fr. Aloysius Pieris, S.J. He was laid to rest in the serene grounds of the Tulana Research Centre—the very institution he breathed life into over five decades ago.

To the world, he was a towering intellect and a pioneering theologian. But to us, he was a guiding light, a steadfast friend, and a deeply loved father figure whose infectious joy and "Christian Sensuality" enriched our daily lives.

While his physical presence will be profoundly missed, his legacy of love, faith, and the pursuit of justice remains firmly alive in our hearts.

உள்நாட்டிலும், வெளிநாடுகளிலும் சேவை செய்த இறையியளாலர், பாளி அபிதர்மத்தையும், பௌத்ததையும் பற்றிய அதிசிறந்ந அறிஞரான இயேசு சபையைச் சேர்ந்த வண.அலோசியஸ் பீரிஸ் அடிகளார் அவர்கள் 2026 பங்குனி மாதம் 22ஆம் திகதி இறையடி சேர்ந்தார்.

களனி கோணவில என்ற இடத்திலுள்ள துலன ஆய்வு நடு நிலையத்தின் நிறுவுனரான அவர்; எளிமையான வாழ்வை வாழ்ந்து வந்ததோடு, சகல மதங்களின் நல்லிணக்கத்தின் வளர்ச்சிக்காகவும் பல சேவைகளைச் செய்து வந்தார்.

மேலும் அவர் பல உள்நாட்டு, வெளிநாட்டு மாணவர்களுக்கு வழிகாட்டியதுடன்; ஆன்மீக வழிகாட்டியாகவும் எண்ணற்ற சேவைகளைச் செய்து வந்தார்.

அவரது அறிவியல் சேவையுடன், சமுதாய சேவைகளும் எண்ணில் அடங்காதவை.

அவரது பூதவுடல் 2026ஆம் ஆண்டு பங்குனி மாதம் 22ஆம் திகதி மாலை 4.00 மணியிலிருந்து பங்குனி மாதம் 23ஆம் திகதி காலை 10.00 மணிவரை களனி தளுகமை லும்பினி மாவத்தையில் அமைந்துள்ள செவிப்புலனற்ற மாணவர்களின் கல்வி நடுநிலையத்தில் வைக்கப்பட்டிருக்கும்.

அதன் பின்னர் அடிகளாரின் பூதவுடல் பங்குனி மாதம் 23ஆம் திகதி காலை 11.00 மணியிலிருந்து பங்குனி மாதம் 24ஆம் திகதி காலை 10.30 மணிவரை களனி பொல்கேன வீதி 715ஆம் இலக்கத்தில் உள்ள தகம்சிகில ஆலயத்தில் வைக்கப்படும்.

அன்று காலை 10.30 மணிக்கு இறுதிச் சடங்கான திருப்பலியின் பின்பு அடிகளாரின் பூதவுடல் களனி கோணவில என்ற இடத்தில் அமைந்துள்ள துலன ஆய்வு நடுநிலையத்திற்கு எடுத்து வரப்படும்.

அதன்பின் இறுதிக் கிரிகை 2026 பங்குனி மாதம் 24ஆம் திகதி, செவ்வாய்க்கிழமை, பி.ப 3.00 மணிக்கு களனி கோணவில துலன ஆய்வு நடுநிலையத்தில் நடைபெறும்.
