Our school debating team secured clean victories over Museaus College Colombo, Kalutara Vidyalaya, Ladies’ College Colombo, and Mahinda College Galle in the League Round of the Sri Lanka Schools Debating Championship 2025, finishing Ranked No. 1 so far!

Victory over Panadura Sumagala Vidyalaya & Panadara Sumagala Balika Vidyalaya.🙌

The senior debating team of Mahinda Rajapaksha College became the runners-up in the "Wagsara 2025" interschool debating tournament organized by the engineering faculty of the NSBM Green University .

In there, Mahindians defeated DS Senanayaka College (QF) and Panadura Sumangala College (SF) to secure their spot in the finals.
Finally, after a fierce debate with Royal College - Colombo, Mahandians became the runners-up of the tournament.

And our boy Raveesh Hiranya became the best debater of the tournament.
