කැලණිය විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයේ ජාතික විද්‍යුත් ඉගෙනුම් සම්පත් මධ්‍යස්ථානයේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සංස්කරණය කරන ලද “ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ මාර්ගගත අධ්‍යාපනය: කොවිඩ් -19 වසංගතය තුළ උගත් පාඩම්” පිළිබඳ සිද්ධි අධ්‍යයන එකතුව දැන් එම්.ඩී. ගුණසේන (පුද්ගලික) සමාගම විසින් කළමනාකරණය කරන ගුරුළුගෝමි යෙදුමෙන් මාර්ගගත පොතක් ලෙස ප්‍රකාශයට පත් කර ඇත. මෙම පොතේ ප්‍රකාශකයා වන්නේ එක්ස්පෝග්‍රැෆික්ස් (පුද්ගලික) සමාගමයි.
මෙම පොත පරිච්ඡේද දහතුනකින් සමන්විත වන අතර, කොවිඩ් -19 වසංගතය තුළ ශ්‍රී ලංකා අධ්‍යාපන ක්‍රමය මාර්ගගත ඉගෙනුම් අනුගමනය කළ ආකාරය පිළිබඳ සාකච්ඡා කෙරේ. අධ්‍යාපනය අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගැනීම සහතික කිරීම සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ අධ්‍යාපන ආයතන විසින් කොවිඩ් -19 වසංගතය තුළ ලබාගත් අත්දැකීම් සහ දැනුම එක්රැස් කර ආරක්ෂා කර ගැනීම මෙම කෘතියේ අරමුණයි. මාර්ගගත අධ්‍යාපනය පිලිබඳ කලින් එතරම් අත්දැකීම් නොමැති රටක් කොවිඩ් -19 වසංගතයට ප්‍රතිචාරයක් ලෙස හදිසියේ වසා දැමීමමත් සමඟ මාර්ගගත ඉගෙනුම් කළ ආකාරය පිළිබඳ අවබෝධයක් මෙම පොතේ පරිච්ඡේද දහතුනෙන් ලබා දෙයි. මෙම පරිච්ඡේදවලින් ප්‍රධාන වශයෙන් විස්තර කෙරෙන්නේ වසංගතයත් සමග අධ්‍යාපනය නතර වූ විට අධ්‍යාපන ආයතන මුහුණ දුන් අභියෝගයන් හා අධ්‍යාපනය අඛණ්ඩව පවත්වාගෙන යාම සඳහා අනුගමනය කළ උපාය මාර්ගයන්ය. කෝවිඩ් -19 කාලවකවානුවේදී සාම්ප්‍රදායික ඉගෙනුම් ක්‍රියාවලියේ සිට මාර්ගගත ඉගෙනුමට මාරුවෙමින් සිටි ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විවිධ ආයතනමෙම කෘතියට දායක වී ඇත.
ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විශ්වවිද්‍යාලයක් විසින් මාර්ගගත කෘතියක් ප්‍රකාශනයට පත් කරන ලද ප්‍රථම අවස්ථාව මෙය වන අතර මෙය විශ්වවිද්‍යලය ක්ෂේත්‍රය තුල සිදුකරන පර්යේෂණ හා නව දැනුම ජාත්‍යන්තරයට ගෙන යාමට යෝග්‍ය මාධ්‍යක් වනු ඇත.
මෙම කෘතිය කියවීම සදහා ගුරුළුගෝමි යෙදුම ඔබේ ජංගම දුරකතනයට බාගත කරගන්න.
The Case study collection of "Online Education In Sri Lanka: Lessons Learnt during the Covid-19 Pandemic" prepared under the purview of the National E-Learning Resource Centre of University of Kelaniya is now being published in Gurulugomi app managed by MD Gunasena (pvt) Ltd. as an online book. The publisher of this book is Expographics (Pvt) Ltd.
This book is a collection of thirteen chapters of how the Sri Lankan education system adopted online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. This book aims to gather and preserve the experience and knowledge gained during the Covid-19 pandemic by the educational institutions in Sri Lanka to ensure uninterrupted education. The thirteen chapters of this book give insights into how a previously less practiced country adopted online learning with sudden closure as a response to the Covid-19 pandemic. These manuscripts mainly describe the challenges faced by the educators and educational institutes when education came to a standstill with the pandemic and the strategies adopted to continue the education. Various institutions in Sri Lanka that were transferring from the conventional learning process to online learning during the Covi-19 period contributed to this book.
This is the first time that a Sri Lankan university has published an online book and it will be an appropriate medium to take the university's research and new knowledge to the international arena.

An MoU was signed between the University of Kelaniya and the Expogarphic Books Pvt Ltd on the 26th of March 2021 at the Vice chancellor's office.
The event was hosted by the National E-Learning Resource Centre of University of Kelaniya.
The MoU was signed with the objective of publishing e-books in the Gurulugomi app. Under this MoU, any academic of the University of Kelaniya can publish e-books with Expogarphic books without any cost. These books will be appeared in Gurulugomi app for readers to purchase and read.
