Late a minute and we have to run
Eyes half open, shoelaces undone
We reach school and we see our friends,
Immediately, the torture ends. We have a chat and go with the flow
Then the bell rings, it is time to go
We may at times find school stressful

have some fun, we have to bend some rules. Some may see school as a torture chamber
Some cannot wait for the holidays in December
But it depends on how we look at school
Honestly, positively, school is cool!! Sailan International School is one of most successful private school in the Western province of Sri Lanka which is situated close to the Bandaranayake International Airport. Sailan International School is an English medium school which has academic facilities for males and females. Sailan is one of the leading English Medium schools delivering outstanding primary and secondary educations for more than 1000 students. Sailan has a multicultural community where students belonging to various ethnic and religious groups meet together and obtain their precious education at this ever loving school. Extra-curricular activities at Sailan offer a wide range of sports, Concerts and other interesting activities. As annual events.

-The sports meet at Sailan will be held each year which consists of three inter-school competing teams namely Badhr, Hijra and Uhadh.

-The Primary concert which entertains the Kids as well as the parents.This event is
very grandly celebrated.

-The English Day which improves the hidden abilities of primary and secondary
students regardless of gender.

With Deep Sorrow and Respect

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Mrs. S. Selvadurai, the former Vice Principal of Sailan International School, who served our institution with unwavering dedication from its very beginning.

For many years, she devoted her life to teaching, guiding generations of students with wisdom, discipline, and compassion. She was not only an educator but a mentor, leader, and a main pillar of Sailan International School, whose contributions helped shape the values and standards we proudly uphold today.

Her commitment, humility, and love for education will forever remain in our hearts. The legacy she leaves behind will continue to inspire our staff, students, and the entire Sailan family.

We extend our deepest condolences to her family, loved ones, colleagues, and all those whose lives she touched.

May her noble soul rest in eternal peace. 🕊️

Passing of Former Teacher, Mr. Majeed Sir

It is with deep sadness that we inform you of the passing of our former Teacher, Majeed Sir (Husband of Jasmine Teacher)

The Janaza (Puneral Prayer) will be held tomorrow at 11.00 AM.
