Anthonyโ€™s, we continue to stand strong as Group โ€™93.โค๏ธ๐Ÿฉต๐Ÿ’™ We are a group of past students of St. Anthony's College, Kandy, passed out in 1993. As small lads, we joined the College in 1980 and during the days at the primary department, to the upper school, '93 Antonians showed their talent in Sports, Studies as well as in Extra-Curricular activities. Group 93 inaugural AGM August 5, 1994In G.C.E A/L examination results, Group 93 created history of St. Anthonyโ€™s by producing the largest number of students entering the Universities from a batch. Out of around 120 students sat for the A/Ls, ten entered to the Engineering Faculty, six to the Medical College, and many more to various other fields in Universities here and abroad. On 5th August 1994, in the inaugural meeting held at the โ€˜O.B.A Club Houseโ€™, we formed the 'Antonians Group 93'. The meeting was well attended with the participation of 82 members in which Ajaz Shafeek became the first elected President while Krishantha Jayawardena and Priyanka Weerasinghe were elected as the Secretary and the Treasurer, respectively. Patrons of the Group are Rev.Fr. Stephen Abraham and Mr. Senarath Weerasekara, who still remain as Patrons, along with the Rev.Fr.

๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ๐Ÿ’” SRI LANKAโ€™S PROMISING CHASE TURNS INTO ANOTHER SELF-DESTRUCTIVE COLLAPSE! ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”ฅ

Sri Lanka started the chase with hope and determination, but what followed was another heartbreaking batting collapse. ๐Ÿ˜”

The middle overs once again exposed Sri Lankaโ€™s familiar strugglesโ€”poor shot selection, lost wickets, and self-inflicted pressure when the game was still within reach.

Dunith Wellalage fought hard with a valuable 45 off 36 balls, while Kusal Mendis (42 off 60) and Pathum Nissanka (27 off 37) tried to keep the innings alive.

But Englandโ€™s Will Jacks delivered a sensational bowling performance, claiming 5/22, as Sri Lanka were bowled out for 176 in 37 overs.

Can they chase down 266? ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‡ฑ๐Ÿ‡ฐ
