PERA SLAM 2026 🎾 | Phase 1
Every great journey begins with a first step.
The University of Peradeniya Tennis Club proudly presents the first glimpse of PERA SLAM 2026 — our first-ever tennis tournament, held from May 1st to 3rd, 2026 at Kandy Gardens Club.
We would like to begin by expressing our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Panduka Neluwala sir, our Senior Treasurer, whose invaluable guidance, support, and encouragement helped us turn this vision into reality. His commitment and assistance played a major role in making PERA SLAM 2026 a success.
The tournament brought together players from Kandy, Matale, Kurunegala, Batticaloa, and Colombo, competing across U-12 to Open for both men's and women's categories, creating three unforgettable days filled with passion, competition, and sportsmanship.
Our sincere thanks to our Mistress-in-Charge Badra Madam, Kandy Gardens Club and its members, all the past students, and the coaches who brought their students and supported the tournament.
A special appreciation goes to our organizing committee and every individual who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. Your dedication, teamwork, and commitment made this first chapter of PERA SLAM possible.
Thank you to all the players, parents, coaches, officials, volunteers, and supporters who became a part of this memorable journey.
