NOBEL PRIZE IN CHEMISTRY 2024 AWARDED TO A CHESS PLAYER🏁
Demis Hassabis born in London, England, on July 27, 1976, is a renowned Artificial Intelligence (AI) researcher, neuroscientist, computer game designer, and Chess Master. In 2024, he was honored with the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his groundbreaking contributions to the computational design of proteins, and he shared the award with David Baker and John Jumper.
Hassabis was a chess prodigy, achieving the title of FIDE Master (FM) at the age of 13, with an Elo rating of 2300. At that time, he was ranked the second-best player in the world under 14, just behind the legendary Judit Polgar, who held a rating of 2335. He captained several junior chess teams in England, solidifying his early prowess in the game.
For the first time in history, a chess player will ascend the stage in Stockholm to receive the prestigious Nobel Prize, a testament to Hassabis' remarkable contributions to both science and chess. His journey from chess boards to Nobel laureate stands as a shining example of the depth of human knowledge and talent.

🔺 ඔන්න එක කාන්තාවක් තමන්ට නියමිත ගුවන් යානය එනකන් ගුවන් තොටුපලේ විවේකාගාරයට වී ඉන්නවා.....

ඒත් ඇයගේ ගුවන් යානය එන්න තව බොහෝ වේලා ඇති නිසා ඈට සිතෙනවා ඒ වෙනකන් පොතක් අරගෙන කියවන්න....
ඉතින් මේ කාන්තාව පොතක් මිලදී ගන්නවා,
ඒත් එක්කම බිස්කට් පැකට් එකකුත් මිලදී ගන්නවා.....

ඇය විවේකාගාරයට ගිහින් හාන්සි පුටුවක වාඩිවෙලා පොත කියවන්න ගන්නවා. ඇයට එහා පැත්තෙන් තවත් අයෙක් හාන්සි වෙලා සඟරාවක් කියවනවා.
මේ දෙන්නා අතර ඉඩෙහි පොඩි මේසයක් තියෙනවා.
ඒකෙ තමයි බිස්කට් පැකට් එක තිබුනේ.....

පොත කියවන අතරේ ඈ බිස්කට් පැකට් එකෙන් බිස්කට් එකක් ගත්තා, ඒත් එක්කම අනෙක් පස හිටපු මිනිසාත් එයින් බිස්කට් එකක් ගත්තා...
ඇයට තරහක් ආවත් මුකුත් කිව්වේ නෑ.
“ මට තරහා ගිහින් තිබුන වෙලාවක නම් මම දෙනවා මේ මිනිහට හොඳවයින් පාරක්..”
ඈ තනිවම සිතුවා....

ඇය ගත්ත සෑම බිස්කට් එකකටම ඔහුත් එක බැගින් ගත්තා.
මේ හැසිරීම ඇයව කෝප කළත් ගුවන් යානය එන නිසා ගැටුමක් ඇති කර ගැනීමට ඇයට ඕන උනේ නෑ.....

ඔහොම යනකොට එක බිස්කට් එකක් පමණක් ඉතුරු උනා.
“දැන් බලමුකෝ මෙයා මොකද කරන්නේ කියලා..”
ඇය තනිවම සිතුවා.
ඈ දෙස බැලූ මිනිසා ඒ බිස්කට් එක අරන් දෙකට කඩලා ඇයට භාගයක් දුන්නා.....

“මෙයා නම් ඕනවට වැඩියි....”
ඇයට සිතුනා.
තරහා ගිය පාර පොතත් දමලා ගහලා ඈ වෙනත් තැනකට ගියා....

ගුවන් යානය ආවම ඈ ගිහින් වාඩි උනා.
ඇගේ අව් කණ්නාඩි යුගලය දමන්න ඇගේ අත්බෑගය ඇරියා...

පුදුමයකට මෙන් කඩපු නැති බිස්කට් පැකට් එකක් ඒකෙ තිබුනා.
ඇයට තදබල ලැජ්ජාවක් දැනුනා, ඇයට තේරුම් ගියා ඈ වැරදි බව, ඇයට අමතක වී තිබුනා ඈ බිස්කට් පැකට් එක ඇගේ බෑගයේ දමාගත් බව.

ඒ මිනිසා කිසිම තරහක් නැතිව ඔහුගේ බිස්කට් පැකට්ටුවේ අවසන් බිස්කට් එකත් ඈ සමග බෙදාගෙන තිබුණා...

ඈට තරහා ගිහින් තිබුන වෙලාවේ ඈ සිතුවේ ඇගේ අවසන් බිස්කට් එක ගැනයි...
