As I travel from Kandy to the airport in Colombo, I have time for one last post. I know both Ramona and I received so many well-wishes and expressions of gratitude from those we taught, trained, and worked with. Truly, we are the ones who are grateful for this opportunity. These photos are a sampling of the wonderful cards that my students at Mahaweli National College of Education made, as well as some poetry from some Kandy Access Microscholarship students. Thank you for giving us these ten months, Sri Lanka. ❤️🙏🏻

My last visit to the Access Microscholarship students in the American Corner Kandy. 😔 We’ve had such fun together, and today didn’t disappoint. We all learned how to do a traditional American dance (originated from England) called the Virginia Reel. Thank you for all your enthusiasm and hospitality, Kandy Access!
