It is with great pleasure and pride we announce that Ms. Shamilka Karunanayake has been appointed as one of the Sri Lanka's Official Youth Delegates to the United Nations for 2018/19. Ms. Karunanayake is a past Head Prefect of Kandy Girls' High School (2012) and currently done with her final year exams at the Sri Lanka Law College. Congratulations and best wishes from all of us Shamilka. Keep shining

It is with honour and gratefulness that we inform you the appointment of your next Youth Delegates to represent Sri Lanka at the United Nations for 2018/19 - Shamilka Karunanayake and Insaf Bakeer Markar

They received their appointment letters by the Chairman/Director-General of National Youth Services Council (NYSC) Attorney-At-Law Eranda Weliange.

NYSC is a state apparatus which falls under the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Project Management and Southern Development.

We congratulate the two appointees and wish them a successful year as the official youth representatives of the nation to the UN. We are certain that they would continue the legacy set by their predeceasing Youth Delegates.

We would like to dedicate the appointment of Shamilka and Insaf to every young person in our nation who works tirelessly to make the future of this country a prosperous one!

Hey Girls, This is REALLY REALLY IMPORTANT!
Sisters frm KGHS pls pay your attention!!!!

*There are so many fake profiles on FB which are handled by people who pretend that they are from KGHS....They want to publish n**e and sexual photographs and they use our school name to their fake profiles...Even some guys collect the photos of our sisters who are in school Uniforms and, then edit them and publish to insult the school...This is soo disgusting and we can't stop other people...

*But as ladies of High School, you and me have a responsibility to protect our loving school...our mother High School...

*Pls do not accept the people whom you really don't know and when accepting people who are using fake profile pictures, think twice...Recheck your friend lists and if you find some one suspicious then dnt think twice to remove him or her..

*When you are uploading photos taken in school uniform, make sure they are visible to people you really know....NEVER EVER make them visible to public...Change your security settings and do this for the sake of our school...

*Pls save younger ones, convey this massage to sisters who are still schooling..and this is to make an awareness....
