Sussex College Kandy is proud to announce the successful completion of its inaugural "𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈" Introduction Programme for Grade 1 students.
Through a series of engaging, hands-on activities, our young learners took their first steps into the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics—nurturing curiosity, creativity, and early critical thinking skills.
At Sussex College Kandy, we remain committed to developing future-ready leaders from the earliest years. This programme provided a valuable opportunity to introduce the foundations of "𝙎𝙏𝙀𝙈" and inspire a lasting sense of curiosity and exploration in our students.

Sussex College Kandy, students from preschool and primary grades celebrated Sinhala & Tamil New year with focus on cultural immersion through traditional indoor games and cultural practices. Children were taught rituals like boiling milk, customs of respect and offering betel leaves to elders to seek blessings.
Dressed with cultural attire, students enjoyed traditional sweets like Konda kevum, kokis and Asmi etc.

The Iftar Programme organized by the Sussex College Kandy was a beautiful reflection of the true spirit of Ramadan—a time of compassion, gratitude, and unity. 🌙✨

The event was graced by the presence of our Principal, Vice Principals, teachers, administrative staff, supporting staff, parents, and students, where individuals from all backgrounds came together to share this meaningful occasion. It was truly heartwarming to witness such togetherness and harmony within the Sussex College Kandy family.

Sussex College Kandy proudly celebrated Founder’s Day in honour of our Founder and Chairman, Honourable K. A. Sunil Jayatissa. This special occasion also marked the celebration of his birthday, making the day even more meaningful for the entire Sussex community.

The programme featured inspiring speeches, colourful performances, and a special cake-cutting ceremony, creating a joyful and memorable atmosphere. The celebration was a wonderful opportunity to reflect on the vision, dedication, and commitment of our Founder in establishing and developing the Sussex College Network.

His guidance and leadership have played a significant role in shaping the future of many young learners and in building a strong educational community.
