_*A truly enriching and inspiring day at the School-Based Professional Teacher Development Workshop held at SIBA Campus.*_

The teachers were privileged to gain valuable insights from distinguished resource persons — Mr. Ranil Meetiyagoda on developing a positive mindset for educational change, Dr. Upali M. Sedere on innovative approaches in the learning–teaching process, and Asst. Prof. Mr. Sarath Chandrasekara on stress management and child psychology. Each session was deeply meaningful and added immense value to both professional practice and personal growth.

A heartfelt appreciation is extended to Mr. Ranil Meetiyagoda for organizing and providing this rare and valuable opportunity, and sincere thanks to SIBA Campus for hosting such a well-structured and impactful workshop.

With deep gratitude, the staff also extend their sincere thanks to the Madam Principal for granting this wonderful opportunity to learn, grow, and enhance their teaching journey.

Our young learners have shown wonderful effort, enthusiasm, and progress, and we are truly proud of each one of them. Every small step they take today builds a brighter tomorrow.

Seven days have quietly passed since that heartbreaking moment, when, within the loving embrace of Lexicon,
a sudden accident took away from us—far too soon— the precious life of our beloved student Ravindu Kumarage.
In his gentle and cherished memory,
our school came together today in solemn unity to offer an almsgiving and meritorious ceremony.
The Venerable Maha Sangha, led by the Karadun Vahanse from the Sri Sudharmarama Maha Pirivena,
graced the occasion, bringing with them blessings of peace and compassion.
With heavy yet devoted hearts,
our academic and non-academic staff carried out this noble act with deep respect, love, and sincerity— a tribute that will forever remain in our memories.
May the merit gathered through today’s offering bring comfort to his soul, free him from the endless cycle of suffering, and guide him gently towards the supreme peace of Nibbana.
May he never again be touched by such untimely sorrow in any life to come.
And may this very merit become a guiding light towards the realization of Nibbana...

Double Celebration for the 70th Kandy Girl Guides Company
It was a joyful and memorable day as the 70th Kandy Girl Guides Company of Lexicon International School, Kandy celebrated World Thinking Day together with the 2nd Birthday of the Company.
The day was filled with pride, unity, and the true spirit of guiding as our girls reflected on the values of friendship, leadership, service, and global sisterhood that Girl Guiding represents. Celebrating these two special occasions together made the moment even more meaningful for our guiding family.
Heartfelt gratitude to our dedicated captains, supportive school community, and our wonderful Girl Guides who continue to grow, learn, and shine.

Today, our school main hall was filled with faith, hope, and heartfelt prayers as we conducted a special blessings ceremony for our students who will be sitting for the GCE Ordinary Level Examination on February 17th.

With the blessings of all four religions, we united as one school family to invoke divine guidance, strength, wisdom, and confidence for each and every candidate.
