As part of our Avurudu celebrations, our Flyers were given a beautiful opportunity to observe and experience the making of traditional sweetmeats at school.
From konda kavum, mung kavum, athirasa, weli thalapa, kokis, mung guli, to murukku โ the children watched with excitement as these delicious treats came to life, learning their names, ingredients, and the love that goes into making them.
With the guidance and warmth of our wonderful grandparents, this became more than just an activityโฆ it was a heartfelt sharing of culture, tradition, and memories.
The joy on their faces as they tasted what was prepared was truly priceless! ๐โค๏ธ
