🌸 Nouns – Plural “IES” Rule 🌸

Dear Parents, ❤️

Today we are sharing a simple handwriting note about the Plural Nouns – “IES” Rule for your child. ✏️📚

In this lesson, children will learn how to change nouns ending in consonant + Y into plural nouns.

✨ Consonant + Y → IES

Examples:

👶 baby → babies
🐶 puppy → puppies
📖 story → stories
🏙️ city → cities
👨‍👩‍👧 family → families

The handwritten note is designed to make learning simple and easy to practise at home.

| Plural “S” Rule 🌸

Dear Parents, ❤️
Today we are sharing Nouns – Rule 4 as a simple handwritten note for your child. ✏️📚
In this lesson, children will learn an important rule:
⭐ Vowel + Y → S
When a noun ends with Y and there is a vowel (a, e, i, o, u) before Y, we simply add S.
✨ Examples:
boy → boys
toy → toys
key → keys
day → days
monkey → monkeys
📌 We do not change Y.
This note is designed to help parents teach the rule easily at home through simple examples and practice. 🌷
Please practise a little with your child every day. ❤️

​නිවාඩු කාලය කියන්නේ දරුවන්ට ෆෝන් එකටම වීඩියෝ ගේම් වලටම යොමු වෙන්න ලේසිම කාලයක්.
හැබැයි පුංචි සැලසුමකින් අපිට පුළුවන් ඒ කාලය ඔවුන්ගේ නිර්මාණශීලී බව සහ කුසලතා වැඩි දියුණු කරන වටිනා කාලයක් බවට පත් කරන්න!

​ඔන්න අම්මලාට පුළුවන් දරුවන් එක්ක එකතු වෙලා ගෙදරදීම කරන්න ලේසි ක්‍රියාකාරකම් 5ක්:

​1. ස්වාභාවික ද්‍රව්‍ය නිර්මාණය (Nature Craft): ගෙවත්තෙන් එකතු කරගන්නා වියළි කොළ, මල් පෙති සහ කූරු යොදාගෙන කොලෙජ් (Collages) හෝ සුබපැතුම් පත් නිර්මාණය කිරීම.

​2. ගෙවතු වගාව සහ කුඩා පැළයක් රැකබලා ගැනීම: තක්කාලි, මිරිස් හෝ ලූනු බීජයක් වවා, එය දිනපතා වර්ධනය වන ආකාරය නිරීක්ෂණය කර සටහන් කිරීම.

​3. කුස්සියේ පුංචි සහකාරයා (Junior Chef): ගින්දර භාවිතා නොකර සාදන සැන්ඩ්විච්, පළතුරු සලාද හෝ බිස්කට් පුඩිම වැනි සරල කෑම වර්ග දෙමාපියන්ගේ අධීක්ෂණය යටතේ සෑදීමට එක් කර ගැනීම.

​4. පොත් කියවීම සහ කතන්දර නැවත කීම: සතියකට එක් කෙටි කතා පොතක් කියවා, එහි තමා වඩාත්ම කැමති චරිතය ඇඳීම හෝ එම කතාව තමන්ගේ වචනයෙන් නැවත කියා පෑම.

​5. ප්‍රතිචක්‍රීකරණ නිර්මාණ (Recycled Art): ගෙදර තියෙන හිස් කාඩ්බෝඩ් පෙට්ටි, ප්ලාස්ටික් බෝතල් හෝ පත්තර කොළ යොදාගෙන පෑන් රඳවන, සෙල්ලම් බඩු වැනි අලුත් දේවල් තැනීම.
