Superhero Day (Young Learners)

🦸‍♀️🦸‍♂️ SUPERHERO DAY - Young Learners English Club - Kaduwela Branch | Hanwella Branch | Kaluaggala Branch

Our youngest learners traded pencils for capes this week! Working in "laboratory" teams, they invented original superheroes from scratch. Naming them, designing their powers, and building their backstories, all in English.

Then came the big moment: pitching their hero to a "client" and presenting their work at a shared exhibition. Fielding real questions, on the spot, with real confidence. 💪

Every poster, every pitch, every proud smile is proof of how far these young voices have come.

👗✨ MET GALA: SUSTAINABLE STYLE - Emergent Learners English Club - Kaduwela Branch | Hanwella Branch | Kaluaggala Branch

Our Emergent Learners closed their English Club week the only way that felt right - with a runway. 🌿

Using nothing but reused and natural materials, teams designed and built wearable looks from scratch, then walked the runway and delivered their designer statements in English, explaining every material choice and creative decision.

Sustainability met style, and English met real confidence. Take a look at what our designers created. 💫

Master Chef (Advanced Learners)

👨‍🍳🔥 MASTER CHEF - Advanced Learners English Club - Kaduwela Branch

Our Advanced Learners went head to head in a full inter classroom cook off! Teaming up, cooking under pressure and presenting their dishes to a judging panel, all while explaining their process step by step in fluent English.

From sequencing language to spontaneous Q&A with the judges, this was fluency practice plated up beautifully. 🍽️

A huge congratulations to every team that brought their A game - in the kitchen and in English.

After a long and exciting journey of exploring creativity, imagination, and artistic talent, we are delighted to finally celebrate the winners of our Vesak Drawing Competition! 🏆🎨
