Cancer research – Animal Model Study
Today in the lab (China):
We injected cancer cells into mice as part of our drug delivery research for cancer treatment.
Details:
🧪 Cell line: GBC-SD, Liver cancer cells
💉 Injection volume: 0.1 mL per mouse
🐁 Number of mice: 15 mice
🎯 Purpose: To study how cancer grows and test new drug delivery systems that target tumors while sparing healthy tissue.
A note on animal use in science:
In Islam, we are taught kindness to all living beings. These experiments follow strict ethical guidelines (approved animal protocol). The goal is to eventually reduce human suffering from cancer. We minimize numbers, use anesthesia when needed, and handle with care. May Allah accept this effort if it saves lives.
