The third volume of the Journal of Multidisciplinary Research (JMR), published by the Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, was launched on 15th of June, 2024 in parallel with the NSBM Masters and Postgraduate Inauguration Ceremony in the esteemed presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr. Rasika Ranaweera, along with the Deans of the other faculties, heads of the departments as well as academic and non-academic staff of NSBM Green University.

The ceremony featured an inspiring keynote address by Mr. Damith Pallewatta, CEO of Hatton National Bank PLC, who left a lasting impression with his insightful speech.

The JMR, is dedicated to fostering a collaborative and interdisciplinary approach to academic research. This latest volume (volume 3) features a total of 25 articles—11 articles in Issue 1 and 14 articles in Issue 2—covering fields from management and mathematics to social sciences, education, and computing. Each article has been meticulously reviewed by our academic experts to ensure the highest standards of research excellence.

NSBM Green University proudly welcomed the June 2024 intake of Masters, and Postgraduate Diploma (PGD) students with the ceremonial inauguration held on June 15, 2024, at the prestigious Green Boardroom. The event brought together distinguished guests, NSBM Academic Staff, and over 70 new students into the vibrant academic community of NSBM.
The ceremony unfolded in the esteemed presence of the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Prof. Chaminda Rathnayake, Head of Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Prof. Baratha Dodankotuwa, Dean – Faculty of Postgraduate Studies and Professional Advancement, Dr. Rasika Ranaweers, along with the Deans of the other faculties, heads of the departments as well as academic and non-academic staff of NSBM Green University.
