We Are Hiring | Laboratory Analyst

Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology (SLINTEC) is establishing a new Water and Wastewater Testing Laboratory and invites applications from qualified and experienced professionals to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Assist in the setup, calibration, validation, and operation of advanced laboratory testing equipment.
* Perform physical and chemical analysis of water and wastewater samples in accordance with national and international standards.
* Maintain Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) procedures to ensure compliance with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
* Minimum of 3–5 years of relevant experience in water and wastewater testing.
* Practical experience with analytical instruments such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometers, pH and Conductivity Meters, COD/BOD Analysis Systems, and ICP-MS will be considered an added advantage.

The Sri Lanka Institute of Nanotechnology is establishing a new Water and Wastewater Testing Laboratory, and we need a skilled Microbiologist to help lead it.

What you’ll do:
- Conduct routine + advanced microbiological testing for internal and external clients
- Develop and validate new analytical methods
- Support ISO/IEC 17025 Quality Management System implementation

What you’ll need:
BSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology or Biochemistry + 1+ year lab experience. Strong aseptic techniques and GLP compliance knowledge preferred.
