எமது ஹம்பாந்தோட்டை ஸாஹிரா தேசிய பாடசாலையின் பழைய மாணவர் சட்டத்தரணி செய்னுல் மசூதீன் (Attorney-at-Law Zeinul Masudeen) அவர்கள், இலங்கை வக்பு சபையின் (Waqf Board of Sri Lanka) புதிய உறுப்பினராக கௌரவ பிரதி அமைச்சர் முனீர் முழப்பர் அவர்களினால் உத்தியோகபூர்வமாக நியமிக்கப்பட்டுள்ளார்.

நாட்டிலுள்ள பள்ளிவாசல்கள் மற்றும் தரும நிதியங்களை ஒழுங்குபடுத்தும் இந்த உயர் சபையில், எமது மண்ணின் மைந்தர் ஒருவர் அங்கம் வகிப்பது எமது கல்லூரிக்கும், ஹம்பாந்தோட்டை மாவட்டத்திற்கும் கிடைத்த பெரும் கௌரவமாகும்.

புதிய தலைவர் மர்ஷட் பாரி தலைமையிலான இந்த சபையில் இணைந்துள்ள எமது பழைய மாணவர், சமூகப் பணிகளில் மென்மேலும் சிறந்து விளங்க எமது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துக்களையும் பிரார்த்தனைகளையும் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம்! 💐👏

முதலாவதாக, 2025 உயர்தர (A/L) பரீட்சையில் சிறந்த பெறுபேறுகளைப் பெற்று சித்தியடைந்த எமது சாதனையாளர்களுக்கு எங்களது மனமார்ந்த வாழ்த்துகளைத் தெரிவித்துக் கொள்கிறோம். உங்களின் கடின உழைப்பிற்கும் அர்ப்பணிப்பிற்கும் இன்று உரிய பலன் கிடைத்துள்ளது.

115 ஆண்டு கால பெருமைமிக்க வரலாற்றைக் கொண்ட எமது ஹம்பாந்தோட்டை சாஹிரா கல்லூரி, இன்று ஒரு வரலாற்று மைல்கல்லை எட்டியுள்ளது. பாடசாலை வரலாற்றிலேயே முதன்முறையாக இரண்டு மாணவர்கள் மருத்துவ பீடத்திற்கு (Faculty of Medicine) தெரிவாகி சாதனை படைத்துள்ளனர். இது நம் அனைவருக்கும் பெருமிதமான தருணமாகும். அல்ஹம்துலில்லாஹ்!

හම්බන්තොට St. Mary's විද්‍යාලීය රග්බි ඉතිහාසයේ නව පිටුවක් පෙරළමින්, වසර 20 කට පසුව සමස්ත ලංකා 14න් පහළ (Division 3) Plate Champion ශූරතාවය දිනාගත් ශාන්තමේරි කණ්ඩායමට අපගේ උණුසුම් සුබපැතුම්!

පිටිය තුළ ඔබ දැක්වූ අසමසම දක්ෂතාවය සහ නොසැලෙන කැපවීම සහෝදර පාසලක් ලෙස අප සැමට මහත් ආඩම්බරයකි.
දශක දෙකක බලාපොරොත්තුව මල්ඵල ගැන්වූ මේ ජයග්‍රාහී ගමන තවත් ඉදිරියටම යන්නට Zahira College Hambantota අප සැමගෙන් සුබ පැතුම්!

වසර 20 කට පසුව හම්බන්තොට ශාන්තමේරි විදුහලේ වයස 14 න් පහල රග්බි කන්ඩායමක් සමස්තලංකා division 3 පලග ශූරතාවලිය (plate champions) ජයග්‍රහණය කල වගය්. ශාන්මේරී විදුහල් ආදිසිසුන්ගෙන් රග්බි කන්ඩායමට සහ පුහුණුකරු නිශාන්ත මහතාට උණුසුම් සුභ පැතුම් !

U13 Division 3 (2025) | Hambantota Zhaira National College finish 1st Round as Group Leaders

Hambantota Zahira National College Under 13 Division 3 team delivered an outstanding performance in the SLSCA U13 Division 3 Tournament, completing the first round ranked at the top of their group.

The team showcased consistent dominance throughout the round, recording three outright victories along with two first-innings wins, highlighting their strength, discipline, and teamwork.

The players displayed excellent all-round performances with strong batting partnerships, disciplined bowling spells, and sharp fielding efforts across all matches. Their ability to control games from the first innings itself played a key role in finishing the first round as table toppers.
This impressive achievement reflects the dedication of the players, coaches, and support staff as the team moves forward with strong momentum into the next stage of the tournament.
