Star of Wonder music video is an epic combination of 03 well known Christmas classics uniquely arranged in the own intricate style of Choro Benedicte'.

The arrangements feature chanting ( a timeless tradition of the Benedictine Monks), tight harmonies, and dark chord progressions accompanied by heavy rock undertones and chorus. The track features live cello's, violins, brass, and clarinet, tied together by a 70's style drum progression .

The visuals of the video feature the classic Hunas Falls Hotel Kandy which provided the unique locales for the various elements of the video

The project assimilated various generations of musicians who sang together back in school and on various choirs going back to 1995, 2002, 2003, 2006, 2009 & 2015.

St. Benedict’s College celebrating its sesquicentennial, honouring a 150 year history of Human & Christian education.

The School celebrated 150 years of Human and Christian Education in Sri Lanka this year (2015), with a series of programmes which included the Benedictine Walk on Saturday, 7th February 2015. Based around its jubilee year theme, “Faith, Justice and Joy”, the Walk commenced from the College premises at 2.30 p.m. and proceeded along the streets of Kotahena and conclude at the College playgrounds with a mini carnival and a musical extravaganza featuring the internationally renowned choral group, “Voice Print”, famed Musical Bands “Marians” and “Doctor” with few guest artists.

Annual Prefects' of St. Benedict’s College was held on 13th October 2014 at the College Premises.The chief guest, Mr. Mario Fonseka, a distinguished old Ben graced the occasion.

St. Benedict’s College Colombo - 13, celebrated its college day and the Director’s day on 11th July 2014 in a grand manner. The day began with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at St. Lucia’s Cathedral. It was then followed by a felicitation ceremony for six retired teachers, Mr. Jayantha Dasanayake, Mrs. Padma Dasanayake, Mr. Lal Silva, Mr. Royal Perera, Mrs. Irangani Rajapaksha and Mrs. Kumari De Silva from service. The school is making elaborate preparations to hold its 150th anniversary next year. As a preamble, the Benedictine walk is scheduled to take place early next year. As a reminder to this special event, a digital clock indicating the countdown to the walk was installed at the college entrance for everyone’s attention.
