අපට බෙහෙවින්ම සමීපතම ආදරණීය පවුලක සාමාජිකාවක් වන ජෙනිස් ලිහන්සා දියණියගේ වයස අවුරුදු 14 ක් වන අතර ඇය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ගම්පහ ප්‍රදේශයේ උපත ලබා ඇත. දැනට ඇය ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ගම්පහ යශෝධරා දේවී බාලිකා විද්‍යාලයේ ඉගෙනුම ලබයි.

2024 පෙබරවාරි මාසයේ දී කොළඹ ආසිරි රෝහලේ විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍ය ලලින්ද්‍ර ගුණරත්න විසින් ඇයට තිබූ රෝගී තත්වයක් පරීක්ෂාකර අස්ථි මිදුලු ආබාධයක් නිසා හටගන්නා "Myeloproliferative neoplasm" නම් ඉතා දුලබ ගණයේ රුධිර පිළිකා රෝගයකින් පෙළෙන බවට රෝග විනිශ්චය කරන ලදී. ඒ අනුව දැරියට ජීවිත අවධානමක් ඇති බැවින් හැකි ඉක්මන් අදාල රෝගය සඳහා වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිකාර ගතයුතු බැවින්ද, එම ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා ඉන්දියාවේ චෙන්නායි හි ඇපලෝ රෝහලේ ප්‍රකට විශේෂඥ වෛද්‍යවරියක් වන වෛද්‍ය රේවතී රාජ් වෙත යොමු කරන ලදුව ජෙනිස්ගේ සෞඛ්‍ය තත්වය සැලකිල්ලට ගනිමින් ඇයව මාර්තු මාසයේදී ඇපලෝ රෝහලට ඇතුලත් කරන ලදි.

ජෙනිස්ගේ සියලුම වෛද්‍ය වාර්තා ඔබ සියළුදෙනා දැනුවත් කිරීම පිණිස කරුණාකර පහතින් දක්වා ඇති සබැඳියට (Link) Google driveහි අන්තර්ගත කර ඇත.

රෝගී තත්ත්වය සදහා නිර්දේශිත වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිකාරය වන අස්ථි මිදුලු බද්ධ කිරීමේ සැත්කම සඳහා මේ වන විට රෝගියා සූදානම් කරමින් සිටී.
ජෙනිස් ගේ වෛද්‍ය ප්‍රතිකාර සඳහා ලංකාවේ මුදලින් රුපියල් මිලියන 15ක මුදලක් වැයවන බව දන්වා තිබේ.

මෙම තීරණාත්මක මොහොතේ ජෙනිස් ගේ හා පවුලේ අයට ශක්තියක් ලබාදීම අරමුණ කරගෙන අපගේ මිතුරු /මිතුරියන් ගෙන් හා පරිත්‍යාගශීලීන්ගෙන් කුමන හෝ ප්‍රමාණයක මුල්‍ය පරිත්‍යාගයන් සඳහා ආයාචනා කරමු. ඔබගේ සෑම මුදල් ප්‍රධානයක්ම අපට ඉතා අගනේ ය.

එසේම එය ජෙනිස්ගේ ජීවන ගමනේ එක හුස්ම රොදක් ලෙස අපි ගෞරවයෙන් සලකමු. මෙම තීරණාත්මක අවස්ථාවේ අපි එකාමෙන් අත්වැල් බැඳ ඇයට පිහිට වීමට එක් වෙමු. එම නව යොවුන් දියණියට තාරුණ්‍යයේ එළිය දැකීමට සහය වෙමු.

I approach you with a heavy heart asking for your help during an improbable tough time for a family very close and dear to me.Jennis is 14 year old and she is from Gampaha, Sri Lanka. She is studying at Yashodara Devi Balika Vidyalaya, Gampaha, Sri Lanka.

Unfortunately she has diagnosed with a "rare type of bone marrow diseases - Myeloproliferative neoplasm" known as a rare type of Blood Disorder after some preliminary investigations done by Dr. Lallindra Gonaratna at Asiri Central, Srilanka in February 2024. Currently, she is admitted to the Apollo Hospital, Chennai and all the treatments have executed (including chemotherapy) under the guidance of Dr. Revathi Raj. The goal is to perform a born marrow transplant there.

The suddenness of this catastrophe has left Jennis's family, and all of us who love her, grappling with the profound sense of helplessness. Being thousands of miles away has only intensified our anxiety and desire to do something-anything-to aid in her recovery.

The cost LKR 15 Mn associated with Jennis's medical care is staggering.
