With the heavy rains and flood situations affecting many parts of Sri Lanka today, we are reminded once again of the difficult days faced by the people during the Dithawa Scylone disaster.
At that challenging time, Java Institute Sri Lanka together with Kelly Felder stood beside the affected communities — supporting our people with unity, compassion, and strength.

We are excited to celebrate the incredible achievement of our talented student, Charaka Hashan from the Giraffe Batch, who participated in the very first Lanka Game Developers Conference Game Jam competition!
His game ✨ ChunPan Sanniya (චුංපාන් සන්නිය) 2D 🛺💨 was developed for the EXE Extended 2026 Game Jam, showcasing Sri Lankan creativity, culture, and game development talent on a whole new level 🇱🇰🎮
Even before the final official results are released, the game is already making waves on itch.io
