අක්මා බද්ධ කිරීමක් මගින් සුව වූ තවත් දරැෙවක්
සැම දරැෙවකුටම ජීවත්වීම සහ නිදහස් ෙසෟඛ්ය සදහා අයිතියක් ඇත. පවුෙල් ආර්ථික තත්වය ඒ සදහා බාධාවක් විය යුතු නැත. ෙමවන් අවස්ථා වලදී තමන්ෙග් වෘත්තීයට එහා කාර්යක් කරන ෙසෟඛ්ය කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය, නිදහස් ෙසෟඛ්ය පද්ධතිය සහ ඒ සදහා දායක වන පරිත්යාගශීලීන් සාදරෙයන් සිහි කරමු 🙏

The scientific miracle of liver transplantation began over 50 years ago. However, many developing communities around the world continue to struggle to access the benefits of this medical advancement. Healthcare is a fundamental human need that should not be restricted by affordability
Just seven months old, a tiny soul from Padaviya, Sripura, was fighting a losing battle. His parents, who had never even heard of a liver before, suddenly faced the unimaginable challenge of a liver transplant.
When he was referred from Anuradhapura Hospital to the Colombo North Centre for Liver Diseases at Colombo North Teaching Hospital, it was their first time in Colombo. With no relatives or friends in the city, the father spent his nights sleeping at the Ragama railway station, driven by unwavering courage to save his baby.
The medical staff never gave up. They fought relentlessly and pushed through every obstacle with unwavering dedication. But they couldn’t do it alone. With an extraordinary act of kindness, many people came together, giving strength to the family. Their generosity, combined with the tireless efforts of the health care staff, turned what seemed a dream into reality.
Today, this little warrior is on the verge of being discharged; healthy, thriving, and full of life.
This is not merely a medical achievement.
As Sri Lankans, we have a strong foundation built on values that extend far beyond profit. We are driven by the satisfaction, happiness, and fulfillment that come from doing good. This is an example of collective effort that breaks financial barriers - the essence of a free healthcare system.
අභියෝගයන්ට මනුෂ්යත්වයෙන්..
"අක්මාව බද්ධ කිරීමේ විද්යාත්මක ආශ්චර්යය වසර 50 කට පෙර ආරම්භ විය. කෙසේ වෙතත්, ලොව පුරා බොහෝ සංවර්ධනය වෙමින් පවතින ප්රජාවන් මෙම වෛද්ය දියුණුවේ ප්රතිලාභ ලබා ගැනීමට අරගල කරමින් සිටිති. සෞඛ්ය රැකවරණය යනු මුදලට සීමා නොකළ යුතු මූලික මානව අවශ්යතාවයකි"
පදවිය ශ්රී පුර ප්රදේශයේ පදිංචි වෙලා හිටපු යන්තම් වයස මාස හතක් වෙච්ච ලස්සන මල් කැකුලක් කවුරුත්ම දැනගෙන නොහිටපු රෝගයක් නිසා ජීවිතයත් එක්ක ලොකු සටනක යෙදිලා සිටියා.
මින් පෙර කිසි දිනක අක්මාවක් ගැන අසා නොතිබූ ඔහුගේ දෙමව්පියන්ට හදිසියේම අක්මාවක් බද්ධ කිරීම කියන විශාල අභියෝගයට මුහුණ දීමට සිද්ධ වුණා.
මේ පුංචි මල් කැකුල අනුරාධපුර මහ රෝහලේ ඉඳලා, උතුරු කොළඹ ශික්ෂණ රෝහලේ උතුරු කොළඹ අක්මා බද්ධ කිරීමේ විශේෂඥ ඒකකය වෙත යොමු කෙරුණා. මේ පැමිණීම ඔහුගේ දෙමව්පියන් කොළඹ ප්රදේශයට පැමිණි පළමු අවස්ථාව වුණා. නෑදෑ හිතමිතුරන් කිසිවෙක් නොමැතිව රාගම නගරයේ තනිවුන පියා, රාගම දුම්රිය ස්ථානයේ රාත්රියන් ගත කළේ දරුවා බේරගැනීමට ඔහු සතුව තිබූ අප්රතිහත ධෛර්යය ලොවටම පිළිබිඹු කරමින්.
ෙසෟඛ්ය කර්මණ්ඩලයේ නොපසුබස්නා උත්සාහය නිසා පැමිණි සෑම බාධකයක්ම ජය ගැනීමට ඔවුන් සමත් වුණා. නමුත් මේ සටන තනිවම ජය ගන්න පුළුවන් සටනක් වුණේ නැහැ. ඉතා කෙටි කාලයක් ඇතුලත බොහෝ කාරුණික හදවත් එකතුවෙලා මේ පවුලේ සිහිනය යථාර්ථයක් බවට පත් කරන්න ඔවුන්ට සහය දුන්නා.
අද මේ පුංචි වීරයා අක්මා බද්ධ කිරීමේ ශල්යකර්මයට සාර්ථකව මුහුණ දීමෙන් පසුව, රෝහලෙන් පිටවී යන්නට බලාපොරොත්තුවෙන් සිටිනවා.
මේ හුදු වෛද්ය විද්යාවේ ආශ්චර්යමත් ජයග්රහණයක් නොවේ. ශ්රී ලාංකිකයන් වශයෙන් අපට ලාභ ලැබීමෙන් ඔබ්බට විහිදුණු මනුෂ්යකම් මත ගොඩනැගුණු ශක්තිමත් පදනමක් තිබෙන බවට හොඳ උපහරණයක්. මානුෂීය හදවත් සහ සාමූහික ප්රයත්නයන් සියලු මූල්ය බාධක බිඳ දමයි - මෙය නිදහස් සෞඛ්ය සේවාවේ හරයයි.
