The Senior Sinhala debating team of Bandaranayake College succeeded in winning the runner-up position in the Shantha Bandara Memorial Gampaha District tournament organized by the University of Peradeniya.

The team defeated Dharmaloka College(3-0), Henegama Central College (2:1), D.S. Senanayake College meerigma (3:2) respectively.Our team became RunnersUp after a tight 3:2 debate against dharmaloka college.

We congratulate dharmaloka college for becoming the champions of the Shantha Bandara memorial Gampaha district tournament.
