Sri Lanka International Taekwon-Do Association (I.T.F. Sri Lanka)

Taekwon-Do history a team representing Sri Lanka was participated to the 9th international Taekwon-Do tournament held at Malaysia. Since 1995 our association is continuing under the name of Sri Lanka Taekwon-Do Association with the intention of enhancing both physical and mental heath of the followers. Hiran, secretary of ITF Sri Lanka is acting as the current ITF agent in Sri Lanka affiliated to International Taekwon-Do Federation vienna Austria (ITF). He started the martial art in 1987 and is successfully continuing and leading Taekwon-Do activities around the Sri Lanka with the vision of enhancing the martial art. In 1994 July he represented participated 9th ITF World Taekwon-Do championship held at Malaysia (under the weight class 63-71) representing the Sri Lankan team. In 23rd March of 1995 he passed a key milestone of his life and was appointed as the chief instructor of Sri Lanka Taekwon-Do Association & Sri Lanka Agent by General Choi Hong Hi. In 2021 May he upgraded himself in to 6th degree Black belt.
