-LYRID COSMIC LIGHTS-

Every year in April, the night sky comes alive with one of the oldest recorded meteor showers — the Lyrids. Peaking around April 22–23, this celestial event offers a breathtaking display of fast, bright meteors streaking across the darkness, creating a magical experience for skywatchers.

The Lyrids originate from debris left behind by Comet Thatcher, and as Earth passes through this cosmic trail, tiny particles burn up in our atmosphere. This creates the stunning light streaks we call meteors, often appearing like shooting stars dancing across the sky.

Whether you’re an astronomy enthusiast or just someone who loves the beauty of nature, the Lyrid meteor shower is a reminder of the wonders beyond our world. Find a dark spot, look up, and let the universe put on a show you won’t forget.

-STARLIT PLANET PARADE-

On February 28, 2026, skywatchers around the world will witness a spectacular planetary alignment visible to the naked eye. Several planets bright and easily seen after sunset will appear closely grouped in the evening sky, creating a stunning celestial display. This event offers both astronomy fans and casual stargazers a chance to see multiple worlds lined up together without telescopes or binoculars.

Planetary alignments occur when the orbiting paths of planets bring them into similar lines of sight from Earth. Although not perfectly straight, this alignment makes the planets appear near each other in the sky. These gatherings remind us of the dynamic motion of our solar system and the predictable, beautiful patterns created by planetary orbits over time.

Whether you watch from a backyard, rooftop, or a dark countryside spot, dress warmly and bring your curiosity. Even a simple smartphone camera pointed upward can capture snapshots of this rare event. Take a moment to appreciate the cosmos as multiple planets shine together, a gentle cosmic reminder of Earth’s place among its planetary neighbors.
