මිනිස්සු social media දාන්නේ මිනිස්සුන්ගේ achievements, සතුටු හිතෙන දේවල් කැප කිරීම් මැද්දේ ලබාගන්න දේවල් වල අන්තිම ප්‍රතිපල. ඉතිං මේක දිහා බලාගෙන දවසෙම data විනාස කරන් ඉන්නවා නම් ඒ කෙනා automatically depressed.

ඒක පිටිපස්සේ තියෙන්නේ හොඳට අධ්‍යයනය කරපු මනෝවිද්‍යාත්මක Theories කීපයක්.

1) Social Comparison Theory (තමන්ව අනිත් අය සමඟ සසඳා බැලීම) මේක Leon Festinger කියන මනෝවිද්‍යාඥයා කියූ theory එකක්.

මනුස්ස මනස ස්වභාවිකවම තමන්ගේ ජීවිතය අනිත් අයගේ ජීවිතය සමඟ compare කරනවා.
Social media එකේ අපි නිතරම දකින්නේ
promotion, marriage / babies, travel photos, new house / vehicle
achievements, etc etc නමුත් කවුරුත් නොදකින්නේ: ණය
stress , failures, නිදි මරපු රෑ ගාන 😅, දරාගත්තු තනිකම, කරපු කැප කිරීම්, මොකද මේ දේවල් අපිට Facebook සමාජ මාද්‍ය වල දාන්න බැහැ. ඒක නිසා brain එකට message එක වෙන්නේ:
“හැමෝම හොඳින් ඉන්නවා, මම විතරක් පස්සෙ.”

මේක කෙනෙක්ට විෂාදය පවා හදන්න පුළුවන් 🥲
අනික තමයි 👉 Dopamine Loop (reward cycle)
Social media scroll කරනකොට brain එකේ dopamine (reward chemical) release වෙනවා.
එක slot machine effect එකක් වගේ—next post එක interesting වෙයිද කියලා brain එක expect කරනවා.
දිගටම වෙලාව දැනෙන්නේ ම නැතුව අපි scroll කරනවා.
Short-term pleasure එක වැඩි යි
Long-term effectiveness අඩුයි.
අන්තිමට මුහුණ දෙන්න සිද්ද වෙන්නේ ගොඩක් අහිතකර තත්වයන්ට.

👉attention span අඩුවෙනවා ඒ කියන්නේ දෙයක් එක දිගට කරන්න තියෙන හැකියාව අඩුවෙනවා.

👉real life boring වගේ හිතෙනවා

👉motivation drop වෙනවා

👉 empty feeling එකක් එනවා

4) Fear of Missing Out (FOMO)
FOMO
“මම miss වෙනවද?”
“අනිත් අය enjoy කරනවා, මම stuck වෙලා”
කියන feeling එක loneliness, anxiety, depression feelings වැඩි කරනවා.

අන්න ඒ නිසා Social media බලනකොට මතක තියාගන්න:
ඔයා කෙනෙක්ගේ ජිවිතේ chapter 20. ඔයාගේ ජිවිතේ chapter 5.එක්ක compare කරන්න එපා 👉Comparison invalid.

දරුවා යවන්නේ කුමන පාසලට වුනත්, දිනපතා දරුවා එක්ක සන්නිවේදනය කරන්න. එක එක adjenda වලට දරුවොන්ව
මෙහෙයවන්න දෙන්න එපා. යම් සිදුවීමක් වෙනවා නම් දරුවා යන්නේ පුද්ගලික පාසලකටද රජයේ පාසලකටද අදාළ නැහැ, අමාත්‍යංශයට දන්වන්න. දරුවට ළමා කාලය ආයේ එන්නේ නැහැ. පාසල් වයස ආයේ එන්නේ නැහැ. පාසල දරුවා ප්‍රතික්ෂේප කරන තැනට ගුරුවරු වැඩ කරනවා නම් ඔබ දරුවා ට බැනලා තේරුමක් නැහැ.

ගෝත්‍රික අදහස් තියෙන ගුරුවරුන්ට මුහුණ දෙන්න දරුවා වෙනුවෙන් ඔබ පෙනී සිටින්න. 👉👉

දැන් ඔක්කොම 32 ක්‌ ඉන්නවා. මැය් මාසෙන් පස්සේ අලුත් ළමයි ඇතුලත් කරගන්නේ නැහැ කියන ස්ථාවරේ මේ වෙද්දී තියෙනවා.

රැල්ලට ළමයි 100 දෙසීයක් පුරවගන්නවට වඩා මේ තිබ්බ විදිහටම ගුණාත්මක results oriented program එකක් කරගන්න මම කැමතියි.

ඉතින් ගාල්ල දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ඉංග්‍රීසි මාධ්‍ය 7 ශ්‍රේණිය ට සම්බන්ද වෙන්න කැමති සිසුන් ඉන්නවා නම් මැයි මාසෙම පන්තියට සහභාගී වෙන්න. තවත් 08 දෙනෙකුට අපේ පන්තියේ ඉඩ තියෙනවා 😊❤️.

Sri Lanka has recorded a rise in the number of PhD holders, alongside a broader shift towards higher educational attainment over the past decade, according to the latest data on the population aged 25 and above in the Census of Population and Housing 2024.

Here are 7 key figures from the report:

1. PhD holders increased from 6,557 in 2012 to 11,757 in 2024, though still accounting for just 0.1% of the population.

2. The number of people with degrees more than doubled, rising from 358,052 (3.0%) to 780,958 (5.6%).

3. Those with a tertiary education grew significantly from 2,195,117 (18.2%) in 2012 to 3,635,462 (26.2%) in 2024.

4. Individuals with G.C.E. A/L or equivalent rose from 1,724,574 (14.2%) to 2,677,022 (19.4%).

5. The population with secondary education increased from 7,079,569 to 8,096,402, accounting for around 58% in both years.

6. Those with only primary education declined from 2,214,792 (18.4%) to 1,738,942 (12.5%).

7. The number of people with no schooling dropped from 561,163 (4.7%) to 400,511 (2.9%).
