On 24th March 2026, the Main Hall of Vidyaloka Pirivena, Galle witnessed a proud and inspiring moment as a new chapter of student leadership began with the Prefects' Investiture Ceremony 2026.
The ceremony was graced by the Most Venerable Thawalama Siddhaththa Thero, Chief Incumbent of Weliwatta Vijayananda Temple and Deputy Director of Piriven Management and International Affairs, Ministry of Education, who served as Chief Guest and honoured our prefects with his noble presence and blessings. 🙏
Our Principal, Ven. Pinikahane Samitha Thero, also graced the occasion, reflecting his unwavering commitment to nurturing the next generation of leaders.
To our new prefects — wear your badge with honour, walk with integrity, and always serve with a compassionate heart. The school community believes in you! 🌟
