Getting Ready for the New Year – A Day of Tradition and Joy!
Our wonderful parents created gami gedara(traditional village houses) to give
children a glimpse into Sinhala and Tamil New Year preparations.
The little ones joined in by cleaning the houses, scraping coconut, watching and tasting sweetmeats, and even frying kokis themselves!
It was a joyful and hands-on day filled with learning, laughter, and cultural experiences. 🌸🍬🏡

A wonderful day at the paddy field! 🌾 Our little learners had an exciting hands-on experience watching the paddy harvest. It was a great opportunity to connect with nature and understand where our food comes from. A heartfelt thank you to Nisali’s parents for their warm hospitality and for making this visit so special! 💛🙏
