Extending Hands, Restoring Hope: Wycherley International School’s Relief Mission to hill country
On 16th January, Wycherley International School, Dehiwala, visited Nawalapitiya to support children and families affected by Cyclone Ditwah. As part of this initiative, school supplies and essential items were donated to the following schools:
Rawanagoda Viduhala, Rawangoda
Maliyadeva Vidyalaya, Wijayabahukanda
Rathanasara Viduhala, Handunuwewa

🎶 NOEL – A Celebration of Christmas 🎶
On 11th December, our school was filled with joy as students presented a touching Nativity accompanied by melodious Christmas carols.
A memorable evening that reminded us of love, hope, and togetherness.

Held on 09th December at Fingara Club, it was a day of sharing, caring, festive cheer, and precious moments that will be cherished forever ❤️🎅

Our Global Perspectives students proudly organised a community charity project to raise awareness about poverty and inequality. Through a beautifully run Mojito Stall, they collected funds to support the children of SOS Children’s Village, Piliyandala.

This initiative not only helped raise valuable contributions, but also taught our learners the power of compassion, teamwork, and the impact of small acts of kindness.

GamePoint ’25 came to an exciting close, celebrating incredible athleticism, thrilling moments, and true sportsmanship. The elementary School students participated in a Personal Grooming Workshop focused on building confidence and independence in their daily routines. With the guidance of our teachers, students practiced essential self care skills through engaging group activities.

The students of the Junior School of Wycherley International School, Dehiwala, participated in an educational excursion to the Planetarium on 13 November 2025. During the visit, they attended an informative session on the Space Race between the countries, as well as an engaging lesson on identifying constellations and stars in the night sky.
