We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated in the Blood Donation Camp held on 15th March at St. Joseph's College.
Thanks to your generosity and support, a total of 117 pints of blood were donated to the National Blood Transfusion Service—an invaluable contribution that will help save many lives.
This meaningful initiative was successfully organized by the Old Boys Union of St. Joseph’s College together with the Past Pupils’ Association of St. Bridget’s Convent. Your willingness to give truly reflects the spirit of compassion and community that we are proud of.
Thank you once again for making this effort a remarkable success.

Dear Friends, we wish to offer our sincere gratitude to all those contributed in cash and in kind towards the Donation Drive we initiated to help the affected families of the recent cyclone Ditwah. We distributed dry rations to 4 places
1. St. Joseph’s College, Col 14 to be distributed among families of the affected children
2. St. Mary’s Church, Peliyagoda
3. Madampalla Centre which became temporary location to cook food for the affected people around the area.
4. 30 Dry Rations parcels for 30 families belonging to a village called Wahatiya. Jaela.
We also donated 1000 bed sheets. 30 cans of cleaners, 50 mops and 40 brushes for the people residing at Thudella Church.
We have stopped collecting dry rations.
You may continue to donate money which will be used to help affected children in few places identified by us.
God bless you all 🙏🏼

Dear Students and Old Joes,
We pray that you and your families are safe during this challenging and devastating time, by the grace of God.
Sadly, many individuals — especially children from underprivileged families — have been deeply affected.
Following the guidance of our Rev. Fr. Rector, we plan to extend our support to these impacted families through a joint effort between the OBU and the College authorities.
Our focus will be to provide dry rations and essential supplies, and we aim to carry out this initiative next week.
To make this mission truly meaningful, we seek the involvement of each batch so that this becomes a collective act of compassion by the entire Josephian community, including our students.
If you would like to contribute to this worthy cause, please coordinate within your respective batches/classes and hand over your contributions to the College Boardroom-cum-Refectory early next week.
As Scripture reminds us:
“Whoever is generous to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will repay him for his deed.” — Proverbs 19:17
Let us come together in true Josephian spirit and support those who need us most.
God bless you 🙏🏼
