Empowering Research Through Data & Analytics!

A highly insightful and engaging session on “Data Analysis Techniques in Research Using STATA” was successfully conducted on 23rd August 2026 at the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

The session featured Prof. R. Ajward, University of Sri Jayewardenepura, as the resource person, who shared valuable knowledge and practical insights into the use of STATA for research and data analysis.

The session provided participants with an opportunity to strengthen their understanding of data analysis techniques, explore practical applications of statistical tools, and enhance their ability to interpret data effectively for research purposes.

A huge congratulations to the SAB Rugby Team on securing the BOWL Runners-Up Trophy at the Extravaganza Rugby Tournament!

This achievement is a true reflection of the team's dedication, teamwork, determination and fighting spirit throughout the tournament. Every player gave their best to proudly represent the SAB Campus.

A special mention to Madara Wickramaarachchi (Captain) and Elijah Milroy (first-ever try scorer in SAB Rugby history), who unfortunately could not be part of the group photograph as they were hospitalised due to injuries sustained during the tournament.

Your courage, commitment and contribution to the team are deeply appreciated. We wish you both a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing you back on the field stronger than ever!

Bridging Classroom Learning with Industry Experience!

SAB Campus of CA Sri Lanka recently organized an industry field visit to MAS Holdings – Rathmalana for students of B.Mgt (Hons) in Business Analytics, representing batches 01A WE, 02A WE, and 18C WD.

Conducted in alignment with the curriculum requirements of BMBA 2253 – Operations Analytics, the field visit provided students with valuable exposure to real-world business operations and the practical application of Business Analytics.
The visit enabled students to observe how organizations leverage data-driven decision-making, operational analytics, performance improvement practices, and analytical approaches to manage and optimize business activities.
This experience helped students connect theoretical concepts with practical industry applications, strengthening their analytical thinking, operational understanding, and career readiness in the field of Business Analytics.
