The Institute of Lean Management (ILM) successfully conducted a One-Day Advanced 5S for Lean Office Program for the office staff of S-lon Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and Capital Maharaja Group.

The program was facilitated by Mr. Thilak Pushpakumara, CEO of the Institute of Lean Management, with the objective of strengthening workplace organization, improving office efficiency, reducing waste, and building a disciplined Lean Office culture.

The session focused on the practical application of Advanced 5S concepts in office environments, including document management, visual workplace practices, process flow improvement, standardization, and sustaining 5S through ownership and accountability.

Participants from different departments, including administration, marketing, sales, supply chain, customer care, finance, exports, and e-commerce, actively participated in the program. Their involvement demonstrated Capital Maharaja Group’s commitment to continuous improvement, productivity enhancement, and operational excellence.

The Institute of Lean Management successfully conducted the 93rd Batch of the TPM Practitioner Certificate Course for the LAUGFS Holdings, with the participation of 30 managers, engineers, executives, and key operational leaders representing multiple companies within the group.

Participants joined from LAUGFS Corporation (Rubber) Ltd, LAUGFS Lubricants Lubricants Limited, LAUGFS Gas PLC, LAUGFS Supermarkets (Pvt) Ltd, LAUGFS Life Sciences (Pvt) Ltd, LAUGFS Holdings, and One PLC.
