Trailing in numbers but never in spirit, the Hameedians fought with just 10 men for over 70 minutes, displaying extraordinary teamwork, unbreakable character, relentless courage, and lion-hearted determination. Against all odds, they defeated Zahira College 2-1 to claim the national title in unforgettable fashion!
With the score locked at 1-1 after full time, they refused to yield. Fueled by passion and powered by pure heart, they rose above the challenge and wrote their names into Sri Lankan school football history in shining gold.
