The 108th Law–Medical Encounter 2026 continues with two thrilling events as Sri Lanka Law College and the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo renew one of the oldest rivalries.

A long-awaited tradition returns.

The Law - Medical Ball 2026 welcomes Legal Professionals, Medical Professionals, Law Students, and Medical Students to be part of this historic revival.

June holds a special place in the history of the Law Students’ Union (LSU) of Sri Lanka. Established on 13 June 1894, the LSU proudly celebrates its 132nd Anniversary this year, marking over a century of leadership, unity, and dedicated service to the student community.

As we commemorate this significant milestone, we honor the generations who built this enduring legacy and continue to inspire those who will carry it forward.

A distinguished advocate and former Address to Jury award winner, Mr. Shavindra Fernando PC will share his knowledge and experience on the art of jury advocacy, effective courtroom presentation, and the techniques required to deliver a compelling address to a jury.
