Do you have a knack for creativity? Love blending art with anatomy?
Here’s your chance to let your imagination take form and be part of something truly inspiring!

✨ The Anatomical Society of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo proudly presents Creative Cortex —
a monthly anatomy-based series where we call for submissions of riddles, poems, crossword puzzles, memes, artworks, and other creative content from medical undergraduates across Sri Lanka!

🎨 This October Edition – “An-art-tomy” invites all creative medics to express their artistic side through anatomy-themed art.

🩻 Guidelines:
• Theme – Anatomy (be as imaginative as you wish!)
• Dimensions – A4 size (Portrait)
• Medium – Traditional or Digital
• Deadline – 1st November 2025

✨Celebrating World Anatomy Day 2025✨
Theme: Global Perspectives of Anatomy
This year we celebrate the unity and diversity of the human body - bringing together anatomists and students across the world to share knowledge, foster collaboration and appreciate both the universal similarities and unique differencea that make anatomy truly global.🌍

The Annual General Meeting of the Anatomical Society, Faculty of Medicine, University of Colombo, for the year 2025 was held on the 29th of July.

At this event, a new Executive Committee and Board was appointed from the 2023 A/L batch to lead the society through the academic year 2025/2026.

As the incoming committee, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the departing committee from the 2022 A/L batch, whose dedication and tireless efforts shaped the success of the society over the past year.

Thank you for your guidance, support, and for setting a strong foundation for us to build upon. We hope to carry your legacy forward with the same passion and purpose. 🤍
