✨ A Day to Relax, Reconnect & Recharge! ✨🌴

Our much-awaited Staff Trip to Eden Resort, Beruwala was a wonderful day filled with laughter, fun, friendship and unforgettable memories! ❤️

For our teachers, who dedicate themselves every day to educating, guiding and caring for our students, taking a little time to relax, refresh and reconnect is truly important. 🌿

This trip was not just about visiting a beautiful resort—it was about stepping away from our busy routines, enjoying one another’s company, strengthening our bonds as colleagues and celebrating the wonderful team behind our school. 🤝💙

From cheerful conversations and fun moments to shared meals and plenty of laughter, the day reminded us that a strong school begins with a strong and happy team. 🌟

A heartfelt thank you to all our teachers and staff members who joined and made the day so special. Your enthusiasm and togetherness made this trip truly memorable! 🥰

"From Threat to Baseline: The Cycle of Progress 💡"
In 1986, math professors literally took to the streets to protest the use of calculators in classrooms, fearing they would ruin a generation's ability to think.

Fast forward to today: calculators aren't just allowed—they're essential, everyday tools.

We see this exact same pattern repeating now. Today, we worry about smartphones, laptops, social media, new apps, and AI. We debate their place in our lives and worry they're changing us for the worse. But history shows that what starts as scary disruption usually ends up as standard practice.

Resistance to new tech is rarely about the tool itself; it’s about our natural fear of losing what’s familiar. Just like calculators became a baseline for learning, the digital tools we hesitate over today will be completely normalized tomorrow. Progress doesn't ruin our ability to adapt—it just changes the canvas.

Adaptability always wins. What feels like a threat today becomes second nature tomorrow. 💡✨

Heartfelt Gratitude to Our Heroes! 🩸

On behalf of the Prefects' Guild and the entire school community, we extend our deepest gratitude to every single donor who stepped forward for "One Drop, Many Hopes."

The annual blood donation campaign organized by the school prefects under the theme "One Drop, Many Hopes" is a community-driven initiative aimed at saving lives and raising awareness about voluntary blood donation. Hosted within the school premises in collaboration with regional health authorities, the event brings together eligible students, teachers, parents, and community members to donate blood. The theme reflects how a small, self-less contribution from a single donor can spark hope and grant a second chance at life to multiple patients—including accident victims, surgical patients, and those battling chronic illnesses.

Organizing and experiencing a campaign of this scale provides practical life skills and personal growth that standard classroom instruction cannot replicate.
