A celebration of progress, perseverance and new possibilities.

The SKIP (Skills Into Progress ) Awards at National Institute of Social Development (NISD) brought together 160 young achievers who have taken meaningful steps towards building brighter futures through the Skills Into Progress (SKIP) programme.

Skills Into Progress (SKIP) is a collaboration by Keells together with Rainbow Institute of Communication and John Keells Foundation.

Seeing these young people grow in confidence, strengthen their skills and move closer to their goals is truly fulfilling. Their journeys remind us that when young people are given the right guidance, opportunities and support, they can create lasting change in their own lives.

From learning new vocabulary to using English with greater confidence, this batch of Effective English students put their skills into practice throughout the programme.

They explored practical ways to communicate clearly, express their ideas, and use English more effectively in everyday and professional situations. The programme concluded with the students receiving their certificates from Mr. Dinuka Fernando, marking the completion of their learning journey.
